On February 14, the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Committee on Science, Technology and Innovation held the opening ceremony of the Year of Scientific and Technical Cooperation Russia-ASEAN – 2022. The ceremony was organized by Cambodia as the coordinating country of ASEAN scientific and technological cooperation with the Russian Federation.
The Cross-year is aimed at strengthening and demonstrating the achievements of Russian-Asean cooperation in the field of science, technology and innovation. The program of the Year has been approved, according to which a number of specialized events will be organized in Russia and the states of the Association during 2022. They cover a wide range of areas, including economics, natural and social sciences, mathematics, medicine, industry, business, food security, technology and innovation, as well as other areas of mutual interest.
