On February 15, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov had a telephone conversation with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia A.S. Mirzoyan.
Topical bilateral and regional issues were discussed, including the implementation of the trilateral agreements of the leaders of Azerbaijan, Armenia and Russia dated November 9, 2020, January 11 and November 26, 2021, as well as cooperation in the CSTO, taking into account the Armenian chairmanship.
A detailed exchange of views took place in connection with the ongoing negotiations on security guarantees. The importance of consistently upholding the principles of equal and indivisible security in the Euro-Atlantic area was emphasized.
