On February 16, at the initiative of the Israeli side, the Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for the Middle East and Africa, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia Mikhail Bogdanov had a telephone conversation with the Director General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Israel Alon Ushpiz.
During the conversation, the sides exchanged views on the current situation in the Middle East region. They also touched upon some topical aspects of Russian-Israeli bilateral relations, including maintaining an active political dialogue.
