On February 25, the Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for the Middle East and Africa, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia Mikhail Bogdanov received Lebanese Ambassador to Moscow Shawki Bou Nassar at his request.
During the conversation, a range of issues related to the development of the situation around Ukraine were discussed. At the same time, the Ambassador outlined Lebanon’s position based on an understanding of Russia’s approaches and the importance of further strengthening Russian-Lebanese relations based on the traditions of sincere friendship and mutually beneficial multifaceted cooperation.
