On March 1, the Libyan Chamber of Deputies approved the composition of the new Libyan Government headed by Prime Minister F.Bashaga. We welcome this decision of the Libyan Parliament. We consider it as an important step towards overcoming the protracted crisis in Libya on the basis of achieving national accord within the framework of an inclusive inter-Libyan dialogue.
We hope that the new Government of Libya will be able to successfully solve the difficult tasks of the transition period, the most important of which are the unification of the administrative, administrative and law enforcement structures of the country, improving the socio-economic situation and preparing for general elections.
We are ready to cooperate constructively with the Government of F. Bashmaki in the interests of further promoting a comprehensive political settlement in Libya, as well as the development of traditionally friendly Russian-Libyan relations and mutually beneficial multifaceted cooperation.
