On March 5, at the initiative of the Pakistani side, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov had a telephone conversation with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan Sh.M. Kureishi.
Sergey Lavrov expressed his condolences in connection with the terrorist attack in Peshawar, which caused numerous casualties among the population.
The sides had a thorough exchange of views on the situation around Ukraine, Afghanistan, as well as topical issues of bilateral cooperation, primarily in trade, economic and counter-terrorism areas.
