An exhibition of paintings dedicated to the biography and work of the great Russian composer Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky is being held in the Chinese city of Dalian, Liaoning Province, Xinhua, a partner of the TV BRICS network, reports. More than a thousand people have already been able to see the exhibition.

The exhibition is organized by the Russian National Museum of Music and the P. I. Tchaikovsky State Memorial Music Museum-Reserve. It is held at the Museum of World Musical Culture.

The exhibition, called “Tchaikovsky’s Planet”, presents 14 thematic posters with stories about the composer’s creative path.

“After seeing the photos of my alma mater and these themed posters, I couldn’t come to my senses for a long time. All this inspired me, and I will try not to turn off the right path,” said Wang Xiaoxiao, a graduate of the Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory after visiting the museum.

As the agency notes, against the background of the Years of Culture of China and Russia, the exhibition will last until the end of this year.
