V.Putin: Governments are working quite rhythmically.

Sh. Mirziyoyev: All agencies, prime ministers are fixated on our trade agreements. They are all being fulfilled.

V. Putin: Trade turnover is growing.

Sh. Mirziyoyev: Yes, trade turnover is growing.

This year we will spend five billion, and each minister has been allocated who is responsible for what. I also met with [Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Denis] Manturov today, he had four questions, we solved them all on the fly.

VLADIMIR PUTIN: Spring, summer is coming soon – we are waiting for fruit and vegetables from Uzbekistan, just like last year. It is good for you and for us. This keeps prices up, keeps them from rising.

Sh. Mirziyoyev: Very good.

[Head of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam] Minnikhanov was in our southern regions and was simply surprised when he was shown cabbage, uruk, garlic, fresh onions. When he came, he was shocked in general. He said: ‘Why do we buy abroad? Here it is cheap and ecologically clean. Most importantly, the price is normal.

V.Putin: We are increasing the volume of purchases from Uzbekistan year after year.

Sh. Mirziyoyev: That would be great.

V.Putin: We will do it.

Sh. Mirziyoyev: I also spoke about Agroexpress. I also said in my speech. We have the opportunity to saturate the Russian market with agricultural products.

V. Putin: We will develop this. Our volumes have already grown over the last couple of years. It is at a level that has never been seen before. We will increase it.
