Laying a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier

After the end of the military parade on Red Square, Vladimir Putin together with the heads of foreign states who arrived in Moscow to celebrate the 79th anniversary of the Victory, laid flowers at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Alexander Garden and observed a minute of silence in memory of the fallen.

The ceremony was attended by President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rakhmon, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, President of the Republic of Cuba Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez, President of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic Thongloun Sisoulith and President of the Republic of Guinea-Bissau Umaru Sissoku Embalo.
