Now many in the West would like to return to the 1990s, “they dream of a great restructuring in the East,” the Hungarian Prime Minister believes

Western countries want to inflict military defeat on Russia in the conflict in Ukraine in order to get to its natural resources.
This opinion was expressed by Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban in an interview with Hír TV.
At the same time, he recalled that such attempts had already been made in the 1990s.

“The real situation is that Western pro-war leaders want to defeat Russia in the war. Great plan! So simple! And for what? It’s for the money. For the sake of money, assets, influence, as usual,” Orban said.

According to him, Ukraine is rich in resources, but deeply in debt, foreign companies can already own its fertile lands and other economic assets.

Orban also stressed that now many in the West would like to return to the 1990s, “dream of a great perestroika in the East” and hope that the conflict in Ukraine will provide opportunities for this.
In his opinion, various “arms suppliers, creditors, stock speculators” are already trying to cash in on this conflict.
He added that the attempt to “defeat Russia in the conflict on its border” is the first stage of the plan.

Earlier, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban announced the threat of turning the conflict in Ukraine into a world war. In his opinion, the world is approaching a point after which there is no way back.
