The event is planned to be organized in two cities — Riyadh and Jeddah.

The holding of Days of Uzbek Culture in Riyadh and Jeddah was discussed during a meeting between Ambassador of Uzbekistan Nodirjon Turgunov and Deputy Minister of Culture of Saudi Arabia for International Relations Fahd Al-Kanan, the Dune news agency reports.
Negotiations on holding this event began with the Uzbek side this year.
During the conversation, Fahd Al-Kanan noted that cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Uzbekistan is growing rapidly at the highest level. He stressed that these efforts are accompanied by the support of the peoples of the two fraternal countries and are the result of the political will of the leaders of both states.

The active participation of the Uzbek delegation in the International Biennale of Islam, which is held every two years, was particularly noted. Fahd Al-Kanan proposed to develop the participation of representatives of the Ministry of Culture, the Foundation for the Development of Culture and Art and the Muslim Board of Uzbekistan in this event.

It is planned to be held in Saudi Arabia in January 2025.
