The President of Belarus has appointed a new Minister of Labor and Social Protection

The former head of the department, Irina Kostevich, was elected a deputy of the House of Representatives in February this year.

Natalia Pavlyuchenko has been appointed the new Minister of Labor and Social Protection, the Telegram channel “Pool of the First” reports.
Until that moment, she held the post of first deputy in this ministry.
The former head of the department, Irina Kostevich, was elected a deputy of the lower house of the Belarusian parliament in February, so the post of head of the ministry has been vacant for more than three months.

Pavlyuchenko was born in 1977 in Zhodino. She graduated from the Belarusian Commercial University of Management with a degree in finance and credit. She started her career as a tax inspector.

From 2006 to 2017, she worked in the Minsk Regional Executive Committee in various positions: leading economist, chief economist, head of the Budget Planning Department of the Main Financial Department.
Then, until 2021, she held the post of managing the Federal Health Insurance Fund, after which she was appointed First Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Protection. Pavlyuchenko has worked in this position for about three years.
