The status of judges in Kazakhstan will be discussed at a joint session of the chambers of Parliament

The decision to convene the meeting was made by the Speaker of the Mazhilis on June 12.

The joint session of the Chambers of Parliament began in Astana.
According to the press service of the Mazhilis, deputies will discuss the draft Constitutional Law “On amendments and additions to the Constitutional Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On the Judicial system and the status of Judges of the Republic of Kazakhstan” in the first reading.
The reform of the judicial system is one of the most important announced by President Kassymzhomart Tokayev within the framework of building a “hearing state” and a “Just Kazakhstan”.
