On August 12, the Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for the Middle East and Africa, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Mikhail Bogdanov received the Charge d’affaires of the State of Eritrea in Moscow, Naizgi Tesfation Hagosa.
During the conversation, Moscow and Asmara confirmed their continued interest in expanding mutually beneficial trade, economic and humanitarian cooperation. The focus on deepening political dialogue and close coordination of approaches in the UN and other multilateral platforms on the international and African agenda of mutual interest was also confirmed.
