On October 1, the Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for the Middle East and Africa, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia Mikhail Bogdanov received the Libyan Ambassador to Moscow, Mohammed Magrawi, at his request.
During the conversation, special attention was paid to the development of the situation in and around Libya. At the same time, the Russian side confirmed its readiness to further promote the Libyan inclusive political process in the interests of achieving a sustainable settlement in that country.
Some practical issues of further strengthening the traditionally friendly Russian-Libyan ties were also discussed.
