The platform of the Interparliamentary Assembly is in demand for various kinds of meetings, which is used by the heads of the CIS parliaments. According to the deputy head of the Secretariat the Assembly aims to develop relations with foreign partners, as the interest in activating joint work from both sides is increasing. Dolzhnikov emphasizes that the role of the IPA CIS “is as great as never before,” especially in the conditions of the global transformation of the world order.
