November 11, Minister of Energy and Infrastructure of the EEC Arzybek Kozhoshev met with the head of the CIS Executive Committee Sergey Lebedev. They discussed options for cooperation on the harmonization of legislation in the EEU and CIS countries, opportunities, prospects and mechanisms for the unification of the rule-making base in the field of transport. The parties agreed to take into account the existing projects and developments in the field of transport during their implementation and discussion at the expert level. The parties also expressed their intention to mutually inform each other on the issues of transport infrastructure and logistics development and other projects in the transport sphere taking into account the existing challenges and realities.
The parties will continue to discuss topical issues in the field of transport on the margins of “Transport Week” to be held from 14 to 17 November in Moscow.
