The Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission amended the lists of standards for the technical regulation “On the safety of equipment for work in explosive atmospheres”. The document was supplemented by four relevant interstate standards (GOST), developed in accordance with the program for the development of interstate standards, approved for the implementation of technical regulations.
The standards included in the lists are developed on the basis of international IEC standards, which leads to harmonization with international norms and establishment of unified approaches to the assessment of equipment for work in explosive environments.
In order to adapt the industry to work in accordance with new GOST, the transitional periods of their application are established, as well as the application of the standards that they were included instead of.
