I welcome the organizers and participants of the IV International Patriotic Forum “Generations’ Peacemaking in the Historical Memory of the Russian State”.
Today, when our country is facing large-scale external challenges, your contribution to the patriotic education of the younger generation is especially needed.
It is gratifying that the Forum provides an opportunity to discuss topical issues of youth policy, the preservation of historical memory and countering anti-Russian propaganda. It is symbolic that it is timed to coincide with the Day of Russian Military Peacekeeper, which is unofficially celebrated in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. Descendants of soldiers-liberators, heroes of the Great Patriotic War, today play a decisive role in the fight against neo-Nazism, Russophobia and other types of misanthropic ideology.
I am sure that the Forum will be held at a high professional level and that practical recommendations will be drawn up based on its results.
