Armenia and Kazakhstan have signed a program of cooperation between the two foreign ministries

Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Murat Nurtleu signed a program of cooperation between the two departments for 2024-2025.

As “Armenpress” reports, this was announced by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Murat Nurtleu at a joint press conference with his Armenian counterpart held at the Armenian Foreign Ministry.

According to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, the program is important for strengthening and clarifying the Armenian-Kazakh cooperation.

“Today, a significant step has been taken that can give additional impetus to the Armenian-Kazakh relations. I am confident that the agreements we have reached will be fully implemented. For my part, I am ready to do everything to ensure that our work in this direction continues,” Nurtleu said.

 

Creation of new logistics opportunities is a key moment for Armenia and Kazakhstan: Ararat Mirzoyan

Armenia and Kazakhstan discussed the possibilities of creating a new transport and logistics infrastructure.

This was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan at a joint press conference with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Murat Nurtleu.

The Minister noted that the Republic of Armenia is interested in developing its bilateral relations, from the American continent to the Far East, and in this context, relations with Kazakhstan are very important.

“Relations with Kazakhstan play a very important role in our perception, and I am glad to see the same interest from the Kazakh side. Today we have reached specific agreements on the development of bilateral relations.

Speaking about economic relations, we cannot but touch upon the transport and logistics infrastructure, and it is interesting that the opening of new opportunities in this context is key and important for both countries,” Mirzoyan said.

The Foreign Minister said that he presented his partner with Armenia’s vision for the development of new transport opportunities.

“Today we talked about the Crossroads of the World project – logistical opportunities based on respect for the sovereignty and jurisdiction of all countries, on the principles of reciprocity and equality,” Mirzoyan concluded.

 

Armenia and Kazakhstan are discussing the establishment of a joint business council

Armenia and Kazakhstan continue to actively develop bilateral cooperation in foreign policy, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres.

This was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Murat Nurtleu at a joint press conference with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, first of all, thanked the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan for the hospitality, stressing that it is a great honor for him to visit Armenia.

“Armenia and Kazakhstan are partner countries. We have maintained the values of mutual respect and support for centuries. Yerevan plays a special role for us both in the CIS and in the South Caucasus. Our countries are actively developing cooperation in foreign policy, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres. The most important thing is that our bilateral relations are at the level typical for friendly countries. We constantly support each other, have mutual respect and trust,” the Kazakh Foreign Minister said, stressing that Armenia and Kazakhstan are actively working to enhance these values.

Murat Nurtleu noted that Armenia and Kazakhstan are confident that continuous constructive work between the two sides will be crowned with success.

“This is evidenced by cooperation and constructive dialogue at the highest level. Recently, the joint work of intergovernmental commissions and friendly parliamentary groups has been bearing fruit. Continuing to develop our trade and economic programs, we are now discussing the creation of the Armenian-Kazakh Business Council,” the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan said.

According to the Minister, Astana and Yerevan are open in their political approaches, there are many opportunities in the trade and economic sphere.

“The foundation of cultural and humanitarian ties between our peoples is extremely strong. We need to preserve it and pass it on to the next generations,” Murat Nurtleu concluded.
