Russian Alexander Eremenko became the world champion in Kyokushin karate

From November 14 to 21, the Kyokushin World Championship for Men and women was held in Tokyo (Japan). 216 athletes from 33 countries took part in the competition.

The men’s absolute category was won by Russian Alexander Eremenko, the second was Kaito Nishimura from Japan, the bronze was also won by Russian Andrey Luzin.

Among women in the absolute category, Nanami Sato (Japan) took the first place, Nana Osawa (Japan) became the second, Elizaveta Zabelina (Russia) won the third place.

A special prize “For the will to win” was awarded to Russian Alexandra Kazaryan.

In the tamesivari men’s test, the places were distributed as follows: Daniil Goryushkin (Russia) took the first place, Kaito Nishimura (Japan) took the second place, and Patrick Sypien (Poland) took the third place.
