The Russian Federation has strongly protested Ukraine’s reckless terrorist actions, which are contrary to international law. The NOTAM notices issued by the Ukrainian authorities about the alleged insecurity of the airspace of the Russian Federation are categorically rejected – they have no legal force, distort the real situation and mislead users of Russian airspace.

We called on the ICAO Secretary General to condemn the unlawful interference of the Ukrainian regime in the activities of civil aviation and the creation of direct threats to it, as well as to take targeted measures aimed at stopping these actions on the part of Ukraine.

The Russian Federation is uncompromisingly committed to ensuring the safety of civil aviation.
