And the wolf itself has become an unofficial symbol of the Russian region.\u00a0 Residents of Tambov have a reputation for a very harsh disposition, and it is not easy to earn their trust. The soil here is rich in chernozem. The Tambov region occupies a very favorable geographical position,\u00a0 a number of important sectors of the Russian economy are developed there.\u00a0 And in the development of cooperation with our country, this region is interested in the widest range of:\u00a0 chemical industry, mechanical engineering, agriculture and ecotourism.\u00a0 In two years, the trade turnover has reached almost 200 million.\u00a0 And now there is every opportunity to increase it to half a billion. Why do Tambov farmers prefer Belarusian machinery? Mutually beneficial cooperation between Belarus and the Tambov region<\/strong><\/p>\n

More than 6 hours of travel and you enter Tambov. The expression “Tambov wolf is your friend” and the super hit of the 90s “The boy wants to go to Tambov” brought national fame to the city. In fact, the city is almost 4 centuries old, it is a mix of wooden architecture, stone churches, Soviet and modern architecture. It is located on the Cna River, familiar to Belarusians, and has been closely cooperating with Grodno for 8 years. By the way, the governor of the Tambov region is fond of cartography and the history of Belarus. Therefore, real rarities are carefully kept in the city library – the Belarusian Archive of 1824 and Glinsky’s essay “Belovezhskaya Pushcha and bison”.<\/p>\n

Belarusian equipment in the fields of the Tambov region<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Tambov region is famous for its fertile lands. It is also called the breadbasket of Russia. Among all the regions of the country, one of the highest grain yields is here. And to plow and sow, tractors and combines are needed. And today, under the conditions of sanctions pressure, Tambov farmers are actively changing Western equipment to Belarusian.<\/p>\n

Modern technology for a growing metropolis<\/strong><\/p>\n

As a growing metropolis, Tambov is updating urban transport. Due to the pandemic, deliveries of Belarusian buses were suspended. Now, according to the governor, one of the tasks is not only to renew them, but also to increase them. We also really need modern equipment for cleaning the city.<\/p>\n

Communal appliances are not needed in a classic design. Given the scale of the city, street cleaning schemes, we need more maneuverable equipment, maybe of a smaller class, in a special design, so Amkodor and MAZ should work in the coming months. Plus, as part of the modernization of the local airport, there will be a certain renewal of the fleet of airfield equipment. We must also present our capabilities on behalf of the governor very quickly.<\/p>\n

Cooperative relations in the chemical industry<\/strong><\/p>\n

Last year, the trade turnover between Belarus and the Tambov region increased by 80%. And in 3 months of 2023, it has already increased by almost 70. The figures are phenomenal. And one of the examples of such profitable cooperation is the chemical industry. The company “Pigment”, the only producer of organic dyes and bleaches in Russia and the CIS, operates in Tambov. It is here that the Russian ruble, food packaging, magazines, textiles and building materials are given color. And if before the sanctions the company cooperated with only two Belarusian companies, today there are already 17 of them.<\/p>\n

We began to increase supplies to those enterprises where we had not supplied before. As an example – Mogilevkhimvolokno. Used to take products in Europe, today we have. We are constantly expanding. Over the past few years, the volume has tripled.<\/p>\n

Despite the large number of industrial enterprises, the Tambov region has been the most environmentally friendly region of Russia for 12 years in a row. Now there is a program “Clean water”. By 2024, the entire population of the region should be provided with high-quality drinking water. Therefore, Russian colleagues are very interested in Belarusian developments in this area.<\/p>\n

Cooperation in ecotourism<\/strong><\/p>\n

In particular, this applies to mobile water treatment plants for urban settlements and villages. Up to 7 pilot projects are planned to be launched in the near future. In addition, the Tambov region is developing ecotourism. And the Belarusian experience of farmsteads, from construction to promotion of national traditions, is very interesting here.<\/p>\n
