The International Forum “Commonwealth of Fashion”, which will be held on November 9-10, 2023 in the Tauride Palace of St. Petersburg, announces a competition among fashion designers. The winners will be able to present their collection in the show of Russian couturiers.<\/p>\n

The main condition of the competition is the availability of a ready\u2013made collection of 10 images. Applications are accepted on the official website of the forum “Commonwealth of Fashion”. The winners of the competitive selection will take part for free in the show of Russian designers on November 9.<\/p>\n

This year the forum will be held for the second time, it is organized by the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly with the support of the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, as well as the Eurasian Women’s Forum.<\/p>\n

The event brings together representatives of the light industry and fashion industry, relevant ministries and departments, educational institutions of the CIS countries on one platform.<\/p>\n

This year, the forum is doubling its scale: the duration of the event has been increased to two days, the business program will include 20 round tables, it is planned to present manufacturing companies of the Commonwealth states at the exposition. There will be two fashion shows \u2014 a show of Russian designers and a fashion show of designers from CIS countries.<\/p>\n

The plenary session and round tables of the forum will be devoted to the key tracks of the industry: economics, production, design, personnel, cultural traditions.<\/p>\n

The International Forum “Commonwealth of Fashion” was held for the first time on October 19, 2022. About 700 people took part in it \u2013 representatives of light industry and fashion industry, relevant ministries and business associations, educational institutions and the creative sector from Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan. The collections of famous designers from the Commonwealth countries were presented at the fashion show.<\/p>\n
