This is the second tour of the Alexandrinsky Theater in Armenia since 1983.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to the performances, the festival included an open conversation with the artistic director of the Alexandrinsky Theater Valery Fokin, a special screening of the film &#8220;Petropolis&#8221;, created on the basis of Kirill Fokin&#8217;s novel &#8220;Fire&#8221;, and an exhibition &#8220;Selected Images of the Russian Stage&#8221; was opened.<\/p>\n<p>In Yerevan, the audience saw the play &#8220;Marriage&#8221; based on the comedy of the same name by Nikolai Gogol, which premiered in January 2008, on the eve of the 200th anniversary of the classic of Russian literature. And since that time, along with the &#8220;Inspector General&#8221;, &#8220;Marriage&#8221; has traditionally decorated the poster of the Alexandrinsky Theater.
