The parties plan to carry out the first &#8220;pilot&#8221; measurement of the index in the first half of 2024.<\/p>\n<p>A detailed methodology for calculating the indicator was discussed at a meeting of the Interdepartmental Coordination Commission for the Implementation of the Strategy for Improving Financial Literacy in the Russian Federation for 2017-2023. The meeting was chaired by the Chairman of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation Elvira Nabiullina and the Minister of Finance of the Russian Federation Anton Siluanov.<\/p>\n<p>The &#8220;pilot&#8221; measurement will take into account: the ability of citizens to manage personal finances, awareness in making financial decisions and related risks, as well as a proactive attitude towards their financial behavior. The index will also take into account the level of creditworthiness of the population, the participation of citizens in the purchase of insurance products and the formation of long-term savings.<\/p>\n<p>As part of monitoring the implementation of the 2030 Strategy, other indicators will also be analyzed: the index of the level of financial literacy of Russians, the level of introduction of financial literacy into the educational system of the subjects of the Russian Federation and the level of infrastructural development of regions that contribute to improving financial literacy.<\/p>\n<p>The meeting participants also summed up the results of the implementation of the Strategy for Improving Financial Literacy in the Russian Federation 2017-2023. Over the past 7 years, the educational infrastructure has been formed in the country, special information resources have been created, and a methodological base has been prepared. The regions have their own literacy programs.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, elements of financial literacy are included in the curricula of schools, colleges and universities.
