He graduated from the Belarusian State University of Economics, Minsk State Linguistic University, and the Academy of Management under the President of Belarus.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">The first place of work is the head of production at the Oxygen filling station in Bobruisk. In 2002, he began working at the Ministry of Justice. In this department, in 2009, he reached the post of head of one of the departments.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">From 2010 to 2014, he was the head of one of the structures of the Presidential Administration. Then, in 2014-2015, he worked again in the Ministry of Justice as a deputy minister. From 2015 to 2020, he headed the National Center for Legal Information.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">Then he became the head of the main state Legal Department of the Presidential Administration. He held this post before being appointed to the post of minister. Before Kovalenko, Sergei Khomenko, a native of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, was the Minister of Justice.
