The Board of Directors of PJSC Gazprom will consider the issue of opening a representative office in Uzbekistan.<\/p>\n

According to the issuer’s message, this issue will be submitted to the Board’s absentee voting on 6 May.<\/p>\n

Currently, among the countries of the Central Asian region PJSC Gazprom has representative offices in Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan.<\/p>\n

In October 2023, Russian gas supplies to Uzbekistan via the Central Asia-Centre gas transmission system switched to reverse mode began. The two-year contract between UzGaztrade and Gazprom Export envisages an export volume of 9 million cubic metres per day, almost 2.8 billion cubic metres per year. Medium-term fifteen-year gas supply contracts are scheduled to be signed with Kazakhstan, as well as Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan in summer 2024. Their execution is to begin in autumn 2025.<\/p>\n

According to the last published list of affiliates (from 2021) Gazprom had two group companies in the republic: Operating Company Zarubezhneftegaz – Central Asia LLC and Operating Company Zarubezhneftegaz GPA Central Asia LLC.<\/p>\n
