Gregoire-van Haaren. All aspects of the relevant discussions that have been taking place in New York since 2009 have been thoroughly reviewed.<\/p>\n<p>The Russian side emphasized that the key goal of the negotiation process is to adapt the UN Security Council to modern realities characterized by the emergence of a multipolar world order. It can be achieved only by expanding the representation in the Council of the World&#8217;s majority of States from Asia, Africa and Latin America, which are becoming the main pillars of the emerging multipolar system of international relations.<\/p>\n<p>Given the continuing deep contradictions between the WFP participants, the interlocutors agreed on the need to continue the painstaking work to find &#8220;common denominators.&#8221; The general position was confirmed that the final transformation scheme should enjoy the support of the overwhelming majority of countries, ideally, it should be consensual.
