The third Festival of National Hospitality “Friendship of Peoples” was held on the territory of VDNH in Moscow from July 13 to 16, 2023, in which representatives of all peoples and nationalities of the CIS took part. VDNKH has always been and remains the main symbol of friendship and cohesion.
As an honorary guest at the official opening of the Festival on July 15, Deputy Secretary General of the CIS Nematov I.T. made a welcoming speech on the main stage, who congratulated all participants on this wonderful holiday on behalf of the CIS Executive Committee and noted that the Festival of National Hospitality is an event designed to continue the historical mission of friendship of peoples at VDNH, to involve the capital on a holiday of good mood and good neighborliness.
VDNKH once again turns into the main exhibition of all CIS countries and becomes a place of friendship and cooperation, where people of different nationalities meet, who have one story and one desire – to live in peace and friendship, Nematov I.T. noted.
The main purpose of the festival is to get acquainted with the traditions, culture and cuisine of the peoples of Russia and the Commonwealth states.
The Festival program included large-scale concerts, master classes, sports events, performances by the Center of National Equestrian Traditions, children’s events, as well as a fashion show by national designers of the Commonwealth.
