On May 24, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon got acquainted with the planning project of the first, second, third, fourth microdistricts and the central part of the city of Tursunzade, reports NIAT “Khovar”.
To implement the general plan of Tursunzade, 128 hectares of land will be added, and the total area of the city center will be increased to 778 hectares, which is provided for 100 thousand residents.
According to the detailed urban planning plan, 270 6-, 9-, 10- and 16-storey residential buildings will be built and commissioned on an area of more than 86 hectares.
These facilities will be built on the basis of one- and two-storey residential buildings and two-storey dormitories, as well as old and dilapidated buildings of the first, second, third, fourth microdistricts and the central part of the city.
In order to create favorable living conditions for the population of the city, public and administrative facilities, educational institutions, kindergartens, a cultural and entertainment park, sports and recreation grounds and facilities for various purposes are planned, all this will be carried out with the support of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, attracting domestic entrepreneurs and other sources of financing in certain terms with a high level of quality.
At the same time, more than 28 kilometers of intercity roads will be repaired and modernized in the process of practical implementation of the planning of the central microdistricts of the city, which contributes to ensuring uninterrupted movement of all types of vehicles.
The draft general plan of the city of Tursunzade has been prepared by the open joint stock company “Shahrofar”.
It should be emphasized that in honor of the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan, 400 holiday facilities are planned to be built in Tursunzad, almost 90 facilities have been commissioned during this time.
It should be noted that with the implementation of the general plan of the city of Tursunzade, new jobs will be created, which will contribute to an even greater increase in the level and quality of life of the population.
