In particular, the second largest grain harvest in the history of our country is expected.

Thus, the volume of its own production allows Russia to provide the domestic market and maintain the status of one of the largest exporters of agro-industrial complex in the world. Our country is ready to continue to take an active part in strengthening the food security of the EAEU.

Separately, Dmitry Patrushev dwelled on the issue of providing the agro-industrial complex with material and technical resources, primarily seeds. To increase their production, a number of state support mechanisms are provided and a separate scientific and technical program is being implemented to create their own varieties and hybrids. Stable development of the agro-industrial complex is impossible without appropriate human resources. According to the Minister, the training of industry specialists should become a common task for our countries. Thus, more than 3 thousand students from the EAEU countries study at agricultural universities of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia today. Many joint scientific projects are being implemented, including in the field of animal husbandry, breeding and digitalization. This practice will definitely be continued.

Durum wheat is allowed to be exported to the member countries of the Eurasian Economic Union – Armenia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan – within the quotas established by the Government order, subject to permits issued by the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia.

“This year, 1.5 thousand units of equipment were purchased for seven billion rubles. There are a lot of Belarusian-made equipment among the purchased ones. It is important that all machines work smoothly. Farmers have a request for major repairs and modernization of tractors,” Gleb Nikitin said.

This decision is aimed at stabilizing prices in the poultry market by increasing supply in the domestic market.

The quota size of 600 thousand tons remained unchanged, as well as the quota duty of 5%, but not less than 15 euros per ton. The non–quota duty will also remain unchanged – 5%, but not less than 290 euros per ton. The extension of the existing measures will help maintain prices and provide domestic enterprises in the metallurgical industry with strategic raw materials.
