KURSK. In the very heart of Russia, on the heroic Kursk land, on November 28, 2025, the All-Russian Forum “Awareness of Generations” was held. This event was not just a gathering of like-minded people, but a deep, meaningful dialogue about the future of the country, the foundation of which is laid in the present through connection with the past. Held within the walls of the Kursk Regional State Philharmonic, an architectural monument of federal significance, the forum has acquired a special symbolism, reminding that culture, history and patriotism are inseparable.
The initiative to hold the forum came from the Interregional Public Organization “WOMEN LEADERS” and the “Community of Like-minded people #Victory Team” from St. Petersburg, which emphasized interregional unity in solving national tasks. The event received strong support from the State Duma of the Russian Federation, the National Center for Historical Memory under the President of the Russian Federation, the administration of the Kursk Region and leading public associations.
“To prevent the music of Russian history from becoming fake, we must do everything possible to promote the transmission of historical memory from generation to generation,” Elena Malysheva, head of the National Center for Historical Memory, said in a quote that became the key leitmotif of the entire forum. Her words, as well as the greeting of Alexander Khinshtein, Governor of the Kursk region, set a high level of discussion and emphasized the national importance of the topics raised.
As noted by Elena Panichkina, chairman of the NGO “WOMEN LEADERS”, the choice of theme and location was not accidental: “Kursk land has a heroic history.… This theme is from the depths of my soul and heart! And she brought so many people together.”
The forum focused on two fundamental topics, which were discussed in the format of panel discussions with the participation of federal and regional experts.
1. “Patriotism as the basis of a national worldview.”
Bright personalities performed at this venue, whose experience became living proof of their love for the Motherland.:
Maria Butina, a State Duma deputy, spoke about perseverance and faith by personal example.
Anna Bushueva (National Center of Historical Memory) spoke about traditions as a part of public consciousness.
Alexander Ternovtsov, a lawyer and member of the Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation, presented a real legal case for the protection of historical memory.
Businessman Igor Dubinnikov raised the topic of mindfulness as a key competence of a modern person.
Alla Chertova and Andrey Bogoyavlensky supplemented the discussion with a regional and expert perspective.
The participants discussed the fight against the falsification of history, modern formats of patriotic education and put forward an initiative to create an All-Russian project “Family Chronicle of Victory.”
2. “The bond of generations is the spiritual strength of the people.”
This discussion emphasized the role of women as guardians of the cultural code of the nation. State Duma Deputy Olga Germanova emphasized on preserving the purity of the Russian language. Publisher Elena Kornilova spoke about the role of media in heritage preservation. The rector of the church, Priest Vladimir Gvozdilin, recalled the inviolability of the spiritual foundations.
The key topics were threats to the Russian language, the importance of family values and charity, as well as the crucial role of continuity in the formation of a harmonious personality.
An important event of the forum was the presentation of the first open International recognition award “Blogosphere. The leader of social innovation.” The awards to bloggers, media outlets, and opinion leaders highlighted the importance of modern media in preserving values.
As a result of the forum, specific decisions were made that put the dialogue into practice.:
Creation of a working group for the Kursk — Homeland of Heroes project (digitization of family archives).
Development of the concept of an information campaign in social networks to promote literate speech.
The launch and development of cultural and educational projects “Kursk Merchant” and “The male valor of the Kursk land”.
Establishment of the annual All-Russian Forum “Awareness of generations”.
The Kursk Forum demonstrated that the topic of historical memory and traditional values is not abstract, but filled with lively, sincere content. “How important it is to talk about this, how important it is to broadcast the consolidation of civil society… We need to live and win in unity today!” summed up Elena Panichkina.
The Awareness of Generations in Kursk has become an assembly point for those who realize their responsibility for the future. This event proved that it is through dialogue, through women’s leadership, through the preservation of language and memory that the very spiritual power of the people is built, which determines the sustainable development of the nation in today’s multipolar world. The forum has not ended, it has launched specific cases that will be continued in the regions by its participants.
