On October 30, in Atlanta, Georgia, USA, on the sidelines of the G20 Ministerial Council, at the request of the Japanese side, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov had a brief conversation with Japanese Foreign Minister T. Motegi, during which bilateral relations were touched upon. The Russian side stressed that in order to resume a full-fledged interstate dialogue, Tokyo must abandon its unfriendly course.
