On February 22, 2023, SCO Secretary General Zhang Ming met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to China Yu.A.Senko at the SCO Secretariat.
During the meeting, the interlocutors exchanged views on the current state and prospects for the development of cooperation within the Organization, with an emphasis on interaction with the Republic of Belarus in the light of its upcoming accession to the SCO as a member state.
The Secretary General supported the firm attitude of the Belarusian side to consistently increase its contribution to the life of the Organization.
