On February 27-28, a meeting of representatives of the Russian Foreign Ministry in the constituent entities of the Federation was held in Moscow with the participation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov.
The important role of the territorial bodies of the Ministry in promoting the development of international relations of Russian regions, stimulating and supporting their foreign economic activities, assisting regional authorities in finding foreign business partners, as well as ensuring the implementation of a unified foreign policy of the country was noted.
An in-depth exchange of views took place on ways to improve the efficiency of the representative offices in the context of the hybrid war unleashed by the “collective West” against Russia. A number of specific measures aimed at eliminating problematic moments in their functioning have been outlined. The issues of interaction of territorial bodies with divisions of the central office of the Russian Foreign Ministry and Roszagran institutions were discussed.
