The frigate of the Russian Navy “Admiral Grigorovich” made a business call at the port of Algiers (Algeria) as part of its Mediterranean cruise. During the stay in Algeria from November 12 to 14, the ship replenished supplies to the established norms, and rest was organized for the crew.
The command of the frigate took part in protocol meetings with the command of the naval area of the Algerian Navy, the Algerian naval base and the management of the port. The ship was visited by employees of the Russian Embassy. Currently, the ship continues to move along the approved route in the eastern part of the Mediterranean Sea. Weapons and technical means are functioning normally, the crew is on duty according to the marching schedule.
The results of the ship’s call to Algeria were reported to the Commander-in-Chief of the Navy, Admiral Nikolai Evmenov.
The business visit of the Russian frigate to Algeria will serve as another step to strengthen and develop naval cooperation between the two countries.
