On October 26, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov met with Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic Juraj Blanar, who arrived in Moscow at the head of the Slovak delegation to participate in the 22nd meeting of the bilateral Intergovernmental Commission on Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation.
A number of practical issues of Russian-Slovak relations, prospects for the development of political dialogue, cooperation in trade, economic, cultural, humanitarian and military memorial spheres were discussed in a constructive manner. The exchange of views continued on the situation around Ukraine and the crisis in relations between Russia and the European Union.
