Radio Sputnik reports. The level of uranium enrichment capacity in Iran is now twice the total capacity since the inception of the nuclear industry in the country, said Mohammad Eslami, head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEI).
“The production of electricity at nuclear power plants has provided significant economic benefits for Iran, reduced the consumption of fossil fuels and prevented environmental damage,” Tasnim agency quoted Eslami as saying.
Also, according to him, the development of nuclear energy will help other industries, such as medicine and agriculture.
