Russia will send up to 25 thousand tons of wheat to Cuba

Russia transfers 25 thousand tons of wheat to Cuba free of charge. Some of the grain will be delivered already this year, some in the future.

Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed an order on the allocation of federal budget funds for urgent humanitarian assistance. 469 million rubles will be spent on the purchase of 25 thousand tons of food wheat, more than 300 million rubles – for their delivery by sea in 2022-2023.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia has been entrusted with the purchase, delivery and transfer of goods. The Russian Foreign Ministry will provide assistance within its powers.
