The idea of a global community adhering to the concept of a single destiny of humankind was put forward by Chinese President Xi Jinping 10 years ago. According to the information received as part of the research of the Analytical Centerof the CGTN, the absolute majority of survey participants support the theses described in this program.
“The analytical center of the CGTN TV channel of the Media Corporation of China shows that this concept is gradually gaining popularity and is widely recognized on a global scale. 85% of respondents around the world fully agree with her, 94.2% support the universal values put forward by China – peace, development, impartiality, justice, democracy and freedom,” the article prepared by the Russian service of the channel says.
The respondents also support the idea of the rule of justice and mutual benefit in the international arena and resolute opposition to various forms of hegemony.
“84.1% of survey participants expressed support for China’s proposal to cooperate on the basis of respect for the various ways and institutional differences of the countries, 84.2% of respondents highly appreciated the country’s position on resolute opposition to all forms of hegemony and the policy of brute force. Over the past 10 years, China has always adhered to the concept of a community of a single destiny of humanity and demonstrated a responsible approach through practical actions,” the CGTN editorial adds.
In addition, about 85% of respondents noted China’s high contribution to the fight against the pandemic, which has become the basis of the global confrontation with coronavirus infection.
