Prime Minister of Belarus Roman Golovchenko said during his visit to Irkutsk that Belarusian enterprises are able to cover almost any needs of the region in modern automotive, agricultural, road construction and municipal equipment.
“With all the wealth of choice and competitive environment, Belarusian manufacturers have proven themselves to be reliable and proven suppliers who always fulfill their obligations and meet the wishes of equipment operators. We are ready to participate more widely in the program of updating the fleet of passenger vehicles, we offer to consider a wide range of buses, trams, trolleybuses, including electric buses. We see that electric transport does not go off the agenda. This is a modern technique that can be a real decoration of the cities of the Irkutsk region,” Roman Golovchenko stressed.
The Prime Minister drew attention to the fact that Belarusian MAZ and BELAZ are actively cooperating with the Irkutsk region on the supply of trucks. “But our manufacturers are ready to offer not only quarry equipment. By the way, BelAZ has a wide range of not only mining equipment. In particular, these are tractors, tow trucks. We are also aware of the interest of Irkutsk companies in mining equipment for drilling, which is produced by a number of Belarusian enterprises,” the Prime Minister said.
According to Roman Golovchenko, Belarusian manufacturers of machine tools and equipment have broad competencies for the development of metalworking equipment. Fraser, grinding and other machines are produced in Belarus. “We are happy to join the programs of updating the machine park at the industrial enterprises of the Irkutsk region. We are ready to send our manufacturers here for negotiations or to host representatives of the Irkutsk region for a substantive discussion of this issue. Belarusian tractors and combines have also proven themselves well and are in demand among Belarusian farmers, so I can confirm that we are ready to ensure uninterrupted supplies of agricultural machinery, trailer equipment,” Roman Golovchenko assured.
