The Government discussed projects of regional information services on the GOSTECH platform.
The defense of the first wave of regional information systems projects on the GOSTECH platform was held with the participation of Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko, Minister of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media Maksut Shadaev and heads of digital transformation at the federal and regional levels. Thus, the meeting was attended by specialists from Belgorod, Lipetsk, Nizhny Novgorod, Novosibirsk, Sakhalin, Chelyabinsk regions, Perm Krai, the Republic of Tatarstan and St. Petersburg.
“According to the decree of President Vladimir Putin, from January 1, 2024, the regions need to create and put into operation state information systems on the GOSTECH platform. By the end of the year, the first stage of public services in the field of healthcare, education, transport, sports, and construction will be transferred. These are the services of 24 federal authorities and 8 pilot regions. I thank the subjects who have become leaders in this work,” Dmitry Chernyshenko said.
The information systems of the first stage for transfer to the ECP “Gostech” included two solutions from the Nizhny Novgorod region: an information system for urban planning activities and the transfer of state functions and services related to regional state construction supervision into electronic form.
Next year, the transfer of the second wave of projects to GOSTECH will begin. Their defenses will be held in the third quarter of 2023. In accordance with the decisions taken by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin at the strategic session on the development of the GOSTECH platform, by 2026 at least 101 services should be operating on the platform.
During the workshop, the participants not only approved the target architecture of the services, but also talked about the introduction of artificial intelligence technologies to optimize the business processes of the authorities. The regions were instructed to strengthen work in this direction.
Dmitry Chernyshenko also instructed the Ministry of Economic Development to organize an operational headquarters for artificial intelligence. The Deputy Prime Minister assigned the functions of the chief of Staff to Deputy Minister of Economic Development Maxim Kolesnikov.
Thanks to the Gostech platform, the state and developers can focus on creating services for citizens without worrying about choosing tools for development or maintaining infrastructure. All these initiatives are aimed at simplifying the provision of services, including in electronic form.
