“It would be necessary to work out this issue (on the creation of a high-speed highway) with the government of Belarus, I will talk to the president. The Minsk direction would be in great demand by both our citizens and citizens of Belarus, especially since we are developing the construction of the Union State at a good pace,” Putin said at the launch ceremony of the movement along the third Moscow central diameter.

The third Moscow diameter will connect the Leningrad and Kazan directions of the Moscow Railway. Its length will be 85 kilometers, it will have 41 stations, 14 of which will be transfer stations. As expected, the branch line will improve the transport situation in 24 districts of Moscow and four cities of the Moscow region. According to experts, this diameter will be used by more than 577 thousand people per day.
