One of the winners of the All-Russian competition of creative specialists of the fashion industry “FASHION LEADERS” / FASHION LEADERS will take part in the international forum “Commonwealth of Fashion”.
For this purpose, a special nomination has been opened — “The Commonwealth of Fashion”.
Applications for the All-Russian competition, organized by the Fashion Network Association with the support of the Presidential Foundation for Cultural Initiatives, continue to be accepted on the official website of the event. Students, graduates of specialized educational institutions, as well as professionals in various fields of the fashion industry can take part in the creative competition.
The award ceremony for the winners of the competition will take place on October 26 in Moscow at the All-Russian Museum of Decorative Art, and on November 9, the winner in the “Commonwealth of Fashion” nomination will demonstrate his collection in a fashion show by Russian designers at the Tauride Palace in St. Petersburg.
The fashion show will be part of a large two-day International forum “Commonwealth of Fashion”, organized by the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly with the support of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation and the Eurasian Women’s Forum.
The event will bring together representatives of light industry and fashion business, as well as relevant departments and educational institutions of the Commonwealth countries.
The program of the “Commonwealth of Fashion” will include 20 round tables, production companies will be presented at the exposition, and collections of famous designers from Russia and other CIS countries will be presented at two fashion shows — on November 9 and 10.
The plenary session and round tables of the forum will be devoted to the key tracks of the industry: economics, production, design, personnel, cultural traditions. The main purpose of the event is to promote national brands, to find solutions to current problems of light industry at the legislative level and in the practical plane.
