We are glad to welcome you in the context of the Prime Minister’s visit program Iraq m .As-Sudani to the Russian Federation.
Before the meeting of Prime Minister M. Al-Sudani with President of the Russian Federation V.V. Putin, we have a good opportunity to take a closer look at the coordination on the foreign policy track. We are particularly interested in your assessments of the situation in Iraq and in regional affairs in general, which are not getting easier. On the contrary, there is a serious aggravation between Israel and Palestine.
We do not accept any violence against civilians and violation of international humanitarian law. We cannot close our eyes to the fact that the numerous problems of the region stem from the ignoring of solutions by the United States and its allies The UN Security Council on relevant crisis situations. This concerns the problem of the Middle East settlement, the creation of a Palestinian state next to Israel, so that they coexist in security and good-neighborliness, as required by UN Security Council resolutions.
We will continue to strive to solve this main task in parallel with efforts aimed at immediately ending the clashes around the Gaza Strip.
