A machine-building center will be created in Novosibirsk, bringing together Belarusian manufacturers. This was announced by the Prime Minister of Belarus Roman Golovchenko on October 9. It also became known what the Belarusian prime minister called on the governor of the Russian region to do.

Belarus will create a single platform in the Novosibirsk Region, where all machine builders of the republic will be represented, Prime Minister of Belarus Roman Golovchenko said at a meeting with the governor of the Russian region Andrei Travnikov, the press service of the Belarusian government reports.

“We have decided on such a first integrated center that would unite all Belarusian manufacturers of machine-building equipment. It is being created on the basis of the MTZ-Siberia trading house,” the Belarusian prime Minister said. He called on the governor of the Russian region to combine the potential of producers to work “under one banner” in the region and surrounding areas.

According to Golovchenko, Belarus and the Novosibirsk Region are now actively developing cooperation: mutual supplies in the microelectronic industry and equipment are growing.

Belarus and the Novosibirsk Region have also agreed on cooperation in the field of cardiology. Recall that under the conditions of sanctions, Russia and Belarus are actively developing integration processes within the framework of the Union State and strengthening comprehensive cooperation with other CIS countries. The countries are pursuing a unified industrial policy, which is designed for the effective implementation of import substitution programs in various sectors of the economy.

Earlier, Russia allocated a loan of 105 billion Russian rubles to Belarus for 12 import substitution programs in mechanical engineering, electronics and agriculture. Joint projects will make it possible to replace imports from Western countries that are critically important for the economy.
