Initiatives of the national project “Culture” are being actively implemented in the Ural Federal District
Presidential Plenipotentiary Vladimir Yakushev noted the importance of cultural initiatives and projects in the life of the Ural Federal District: “The renovation of theaters, libraries, museums, art schools and cultural centers gives a powerful impetus to the development of new projects. It is important to create and maintain a cultural environment that best meets the needs of a person, society and the state.”
First of all, attention is paid to the main component of cultural work – people. So, by October 1, more than 13.5 thousand specialists in the Ural Federal District had advanced training on the basis of Continuing Education Centers, another 836 people will pass it by the end of the year.
As for volunteers and volunteers, their number amounted to 46 thousand people and exceeded all planned indicators, which indicates the interest of citizens in the national project.
Another important component remains the support of initiatives in the field of culture: in total, more than 400 creative initiatives and projects were supported.
At the same time, one of the most important items of expenditure is still the construction and repair of cultural institutions of the Ural Federal District. So, since the beginning of the project, 100 out of 114 planned facilities have been created, reconstructed and overhauled, 336 cultural organizations have received new equipment.
For example, this year new musical instruments entered the Magnitogorsk State Conservatory named after M.I.Glinka and 12 children’s art schools in the Chelyabinsk region. Seven children’s art schools in the Kurgan region are fully staffed, ten in the Tyumen region, 18 in Ugra, 28 in the Sverdlovsk region.
According to the model standard, 20 municipal libraries have been re-equipped, 16 municipal museums have been equipped with new equipment.
Among the objects of capital construction (this also includes major repairs and reconstructions) in the Ural Federal District, one can note the rural house of culture in S.The key of the Achitsky district of the Sverdlovsk region and the cultural development center in the Karabash city district of the Chelyabinsk region, as well as the overhaul of the New Youth Theater in Nizhny Tagil, the Kurgan Drama Theater and the Kurgan Puppet Theater “Gulliver”, the Larikhinsky Rural House of Culture in the Tyumen region, museums in Surgut and Pyt-Yakh.
