On December 7-8, 2023, Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the People’s Republic of China Aktilek Musayeva took part in the 5th Women’s Forum “One Belt, One Road” in Sanya.
The forum is organized by the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, the All-China Federation of Chinese Returning from Abroad, the All-China Youth Federation, the All-China Federation of Women and the Municipal Government ofSanya.
The forum was attended by the Coordinator of the UN Mission in Beijing, representatives of more than 20 diplomatic missions accredited in China, as well as representatives of women’s organizations in China and a number of foreign countries.
During the opening ceremony of the event, Ambassador A.Musayeva noted that the Kyrgyz Republic has made significant progress in the development of gender equality and ensuring the rights and interests of women. The Ambassador also noted that Kyrgyz women play an active role in the political, economic, social, cultural and humanitarian life of the country.
