The “Big Tour” of the Theater and Cinema Center under the leadership of Nikita Mikhalkov took place in the Republic of Belarus. Screenings of the play “12” were held in Minsk on the stage of the Palace of the Republic.

The event was organized by Rosconcert as part of the All-Russian Tour and Concert plan of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation.

As Nikita Mikhalkov, People’s Artist of the Russian Federation, artistic director of the Center for Theater and Cinema, noted, “the performance “12” is an opportunity for us to have a serious dialogue with the audience. And the most precious thing for us is that in all cities – in Moscow, Minsk, Kemerovo, Vladivostok and even Tashkent – the audience accepts the performance in exactly the same way. And the absolutely unprecedented silence that stands in the hall for two and a half thousand people, and the way the audience is inspired when the performance ends, this is extremely important, because the questions that we raise, that we raise, is a responsible, honest conversation, for which you are responsible. And people always feel it.”

According to Mikhalkov, the departure of such a technically complex performance could not have been organized without the support of the Ministry of Culture of Russia, Rosconcert and the Big Tour program.

“Big tours” is an opportunity to collect the most valuable, significant and interesting things for people and give them the opportunity to technically and financially carry out tours, help with moving, transporting decorations and so on. This is a great idea,” Nikita Mikhalkov said.
